This all started because we want to become less dependent on others. Among our other pursuits, woodworking, specifically woodworking the "old fashioned way", will allow us to build and sustain our lifestyle. Without concerning ourselves with the question, "Where's the extension cord".
Here is the plan for the kids bookcase. The top is a "V" shape so the books will be upright and facing you. You can flip through them easily that way. The bottom will be for storing books like a normal bookshelf, spine out.
